If your communication is very sensitive, or includes personally identifiable information (i.e. social security number, home address, phone number, birth date) or includes information such as account numbers, please call us first and we will advise you regarding your issue

Due to legal questions about access to different accounts we are informing all members of the following guideline. These guidelines apply to all members.

Individual Accounts

In accounts with one signer there will be no information or withdrawals without the signers approval. If you wish for a check to be made to another party, you must pick up the check at the credit union. If you wish for someone else to pick up your check, the check must be made out to you. If you send a note we will compare the signature on it to your signature card. If you have changed your signature please come in to sign a new card.

Joint Accounts

Joint accounts with two or more signers give each signer the same accessibility to the account if all signers are over 18 years of age. If the first signer does not want other signers to have access to their funds we suggest the signer open up an individual account.

Guardian Accounts

Only the guardian can receive funds or information from these accounts.

Minor Accounts

If a parent opens an account for a minor child, the parent may set limits on funds that are available to the minor child. We will note this on the computer. Please contact the Credit Union with any changes. When the child reaches the age of 18 the account will be regarded as a regular joint account. This gives both signers equal access.
